The terms and conditions governing the use of TrustCite services

Welcome to TrustCite. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrustCite platform at trustcite.com, including our citation verification, literature search, and certification services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
TrustCite provides academic citation verification, literature search, and digital certification services. Our platform allows users to verify the accuracy of citations, discover relevant academic literature, and generate verification certificates for their research.
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Certain features of TrustCite require payment or credits. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. Credits are subject to the terms of your selected plan, including expiration periods where applicable.
We want you to be satisfied with our services. If you are not, you may request a refund within 10 days of your purchase. To be eligible, your purchased credits must remain unused. To request a refund, please email us at [email protected] with your account email address and the reason for your request. We will review your request within 5 business days and, if approved, process the refund to your original payment method. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and are not eligible for partial refunds.
If you breach these Terms, we may take the following actions, depending on the severity and frequency of the breach:
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior warning, for serious breaches. These include submitting fraudulent citation data, attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, using our services for unlawful purposes, reselling or redistributing our services without permission, and any activity that threatens the security or availability of the platform for other users.
If your account is suspended or terminated because you breached these Terms, any unused credits are forfeited and will not be refunded. This is an exception to our Refund Policy above.
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may appeal by emailing [email protected]. We will review your appeal and respond within 5 business days.
You may stop using our services at any time and delete your account under Settings → Security. Deleting your account also forfeits any unused credits.
The TrustCite platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by TrustCite and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Verification results and certificates generated through our services may be used by you for academic and professional purposes.
TrustCite provides citation verification based on available academic databases. We do not guarantee the completeness or absolute accuracy of verification results. Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where TrustCite operates.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
